Buntara Sangha organizes their 1st Family Picnic "Karnataka Maithri". The event was Co-Sponsored by U.A.E. Exchange Centre, Kuwait on 4th October 2002 at Mishref Garden.
The event turned out to be a huge success among all people from Karnataka.
Inaugural Ceremony of Buntara Sangha Kuwait held on 8th March 2002 at Mass Auditorium, Abassiya.

The Bunts in Kuwait came together and formed their own organization in Kuwait for the welfare and charity of Bunts community. The Sangha came into existence by the hard work of two Coordinators - Mr. Vivek Shetty Belman & Mr. Prakash K Shetty Bijantla along with Founder members.
The Inaugural ceremony took place on 8th March, 2002 (5:00 pm) at the Mass Auditorium, Abbassiya, Kuwait. The lighting of the lamp was done by Mr. Sudhakar Shetty Aikala.
Dr. Nithyananda Shetty was elected as the first President of the Sangha. He is an E.N.T. specialist in profession and a Yoga instructor, and hails from Aikala, near Kinnigoli, Mangalore.
